Ignoring is Focusing – Archangel Gabriel

“Focusing on what is will bring you more of it, and ignoring what is will not eliminate the need for you to look at it. There is quite a bit of confusion around this topic, because as you learn about focus and creation you think that you will only create that which you want if you only focus on that which you want. But ignoring, and denying, and sweeping under the rug are still acts of focus.

You are still expending energy to ignore that which you seek to ignore. And as your attention is on it, you are drawing more of it towards you. But you see, this ultimately serves you very well because your purpose in life is not to create a utopia where only that which you want exists. Your purpose in life is to be more of who you are, and who you are is Unconditional Love.

So Unconditional Love does not need to ignore anything or anyone. Unconditional Love allows all to be as it is. But you, as individuals living in a world, still get to have your preferences for that which you explore and engage with. So we are not asking you to choose to engage with everything. What we are telling you is that until you are able to look at something without resisting it, you will continue to draw it to you.

And then your choosing of something else will not cancel out the thing that you do not want. So what we are talking about here is the ultimate in surrender. It is the ultimate in letting go when you allow everything to exist as a choice and as an opportunity for experience.

And you recognize that you do not need to ignore it in order to experience something else. That is when you take on your true power, your free will. And that is when the choice is yours to select that which you prefer in harmony with all that exists.
