You Are the Accomplishment
“You can find solace in the fact that there are no accomplishments that need to be made. There are no goals for this lifetime that you set up for yourself before you incarnated. That is not something that you would have done. When you set out to have an incarnation for yourself, it is all about what you want to experience. And experience and accomplishment, or goal, are not the same thing. So now that you have been living in this world for a while and you have seen some of what it has to offer, some of what is possible for you, you may decide that you want something.
And so you decide that you have a goal that you have set for yourself, or that you want to accomplish something regarding your work or even your spiritual growth. All of that gets in the way of experience because that is like saying, ‘This experience over here that I am not having is the only experience worth having. Everything else that I will do in order to get there is not as important, it is not as significant, and it is certainly not as desired by me. I just want the accomplishment. I just want to reach my goal.’
Well, we like that you want to do things and you want to have things and you want to experience things, and we would never steer you away from any of that. But we want you to know that from your higher self and your oversoul perspective, you are the accomplishment. You were the goal that was set, and there is nothing more that you ever need to do, need to accomplish. And even your experiences from this point forward can be much more general. They can be created by you on the spot. They can be desires that you are discovering now that you are here.
But you are an experience, and your oversoul and higher self are having the experience that they sought. So you can let yourself off the hook. You do not need to live up to anyone else’s ideas about where you should be, what you should be doing, how far you should have come by now. Those measurements will only keep you from having the experience that you ultimately want for yourself, now, and in every lifetime – the experience of joy.”
