Believing And Knowing – Ophelia the Faerie

“I am here. I am with you.

Believing means that you still experience some doubt. Believing is just a little off from the experience of knowing. Therefore, when you say that you believe something is true, what you are actually doing is calling forth an experience to confirm that belief for you so that you can then know that it is true.

Therefore, you are creating what you experience with what you believe to be true about your reality. Those beliefs are like avenues that you can travel down. And like an avenue that you can travel, you can always turn and find yourself on another street, on another path, having new experiences.

So you would not see the streets and avenues and boulevards that you have access to in your world as your enemies. You would never seek to abolish one of those pathways for you to move down. And you needn’t look to do so with beliefs either. They are not really *your* beliefs. You are just renting them.

So when you talk about *your* beliefs, be careful not to take ownership, not to cling, not to allow the belief to become part of the fabric of who you are. This goes for the beliefs you are proud of, as well as the beliefs you are not so proud of. They are just avenues for experience.

Instead of focusing on what beliefs you are trying on for size, I invite you to focus in on your knowing. Focus in on the stable aspect of who you are that knows itself as love, as freedom, as joy, as excitement. Always move from what you know to be true.

Allow yourselves to imagine these beliefs as being very flimsy and whimsical and light, even if they have been carried down from generation to generation. They are still not any more powerful than any one of the beings who is trying them on for size.

Those who came before you simply did not know that it was an option to play with a different belief, to have a different knowing, and to live a different truth. But now you know and here you are. And you are deciding what you want to hold as your truth and as your knowing and what beliefs you want to play with.
