Obstacles Are a Gift ∞The Pleiadian High Council of Seven

“We are the Pleiadian High Council of Seven, and we are pleased to offer you our words of wisdom.

Every so often you come across something in your life that could only be described as a nuisance. You have these sticky situations that come up, and they seem to slow you down to keep you from moving forward in the way that you want to. You call them hindrances, obstacles, challenges. You have many names for them.

Anything that causes you to slow down, to take a pause, and to seek an inward journey, is serving you very well. Getting to where you want to go is not really what it’s all about. It is the getting there that is the true gift. And when you find yourselves moving more slowly towards where you want to go, there are several things that come up for you.

You tend to fear that you are never going to get there or that you are wasting your time. And you put where you are going on such a high pedestal that you believe it is the ultimate experience. You believe that you will only have the ultimate experience of your life when you arrive at your desired destination. And so many of you curse your obstacles for keeping you from the prize that you have determined is the ultimate experience.

This is why so many teach letting go and not being attached. And yet so many of you respond to those teachings with frustration. You wonder why you cannot have what you want. Why would it ever be necessary to let go? Well, it is only necessary in order to give you the juiciest and best experience that you could possibly have. The experience we are talking about is the full realization that you are whole and complete as you are.

If you keep getting to your desired destinations, it is possible for you to develop the false theory that it is your accomplishments and your manifestations that give you that feeling of being whole and being complete. But when your beautiful obstacles keep you from getting to where you most desire to go, that’s when you have the opportunity to recognize the wholeness that you are without that attachment.

That is the moment you give yourselves permission to feel the magnitude of who you are in the moment, and that is the most precious gift you can give yourselves. So the next time you find yourself not reaching a desired destination, bless that obstacle and remember our words – you are whole and complete as you are.
