Channeling Ophelia – Interests
“Interest is the spark of Divinity. When you are interested in something, or someone, or some activity, you are accessing that spark. You can always tell when you are in that frequency of interest. There is a pull. There is an impulse. There is desire. These are your guides. They are your perfect energetic avenues for alignment with that which you really are.
They ask you for nothing more than your attention. They want nothing more than for you to follow that impulse, that desire, and to experience that interest. You all had an interest in being here. That is your primary interest. Your primary interest is this experience.
Within this experience you will find that you are interested in different things, different people, and different activities, depending upon what it is that you are exploring about yourself. It always leads you back to yourself. Everything that you are interested in is a part of you. It may not look that way. It may not seem that way because of the physical nature of what it is you are exploring.
But there is something contained within those experiences, those people, those objects that will lead you back to a deeper knowing of your self. It won’t be a wasted effort, and you will never waste your time following the interest that you have. You may say, ‘But it didn’t lead anywhere. It didn’t result in anything that I wanted.’
And I would say to you, that was never the point. The point is never to get you somewhere else. The point is for you to have an experience, to know yourself, and to feel the spark, to feel that connection, that connection that very much looks like it is about what is outside of you. But it is very much the connection to your true self, to the spark, to All That Is, that you are following.
You may wonder why, at times, you do not feel interested in anything and that nothing is calling you. Those are times for you to explore other aspects of reality. It may be that you are exploring an emotion. It may be that you are exploring your own sense of who you are as a person who has no interests. It may be that you are needing and requiring a little bit of downtime, and rest, and integration from your last adventure.
Never look upon your interests as the whole meaning of your life, for they will always be temporary. They are there to lead you somewhere. Follow the breadcrumbs with exuberance and with the knowledge that you will discover exactly what it is that you came here most interested in. And that, my dear friends, is you.”
