Declaration vs. Creation ∞Quan Yin
“It is I, Quan Yin.
Having made a declaration about someone, something, or some circumstance, you put yourself in the position of then having to defend that declaration. And I don’t just mean with your words. You ensure that the declaration you have made is true by recreating the same versions of events so that you will be right.
So for some of you it’s more important that you be right, or that you be on the right side of an issue than that you create what it is you actually want, because often the declaration that you make are about things and people that you are judging, that you are not seeing in the most positive light. So if you make a statement in the heat of anger, or even in the cold of despair, you do have the free will to let it go.
You do not need then to make it true, and you certainly don’t need to make it true forever and ever more. Something can be true in one moment, and then shift in the next, because everything is always changing. But when you make your declarations, and then you feel the need to defend them, you are only allowing yourselves to experience the slightest possible change, certainly not the amount of change that you would like to experience.
So I recommend putting how you feel and what you want to create above being right. Being right only matters to you, and it does not serve you in the long run to be the one who was right most often. Usually that just isolates you from other people, and you are Love incarnate seeking to find the Love in those around you. So I encourage you to remember that the next time you feel the need to make a declaration.
I am Quan Yin, and I hold you in my heart.”
