Present Moment Awareness ∞The Creators
“In the state of awareness that you are, you can understand all that you need to know. You are able to perceive that which is significant and filter out that which is not significant to you. It is through the present moment awareness that everything that is relevant to you can be easily deciphered. If there is something that you need to know about in the present moment, you will have put it there for yourselves.
So this is why so many are talking about the importance of being present. When you spend more of your time in the present moment, you are sharpening your skills at perceiving that which is being sent to you for the maximum benefit of your being-ness. That is why you have a inner sense and inner knowing of what is most important for you in any given moment. It is because you need not spend any time wondering about any other moment that you are able to decipher the hints and impulses that you are constantly being sent.
And that does not mean you won’t be sent information about something that is before you, something that will happen, that you will be a part of. You may be given that information as well. But there is a difference between thinking about something that is in your future and receiving information about that future event. Pay attention to where you are focused when you get that impulse. If you are thinking about it, then it is coming from your physical mind. If you are being present and you suddenly have a thought about it that is something that you need to know, then you can be certain that it is coming from another aspect of yourself or a guide.
So this is something that you must practice in order to really understand – when you are receiving and when you are just ruminating about something that is not part of your present. Awareness will serve you in many other ways as well. You will be a more conscious creator as you focus in on what you are feeling in the present moment, and you will know whether what you are feeling is about what you are doing in the moment or whether it is about something else, because you will be able to use your inner senses to discern what the emotion you are feeling in the moment is about. That will enable you to give it the attention that it deserves and give what you are doing the attention that it deserves.
Practice this teaching as frequently as you can. Start small. Start with something that you know you can stay present while doing, and it will become a habit for you and you will notice that it becomes like a muscle that grows in its strength, with use. So have fun with this and pay attention because you are always receiving and you are always creating, and we are simply encouraging you to do it consciously.”
