Appearances – Archangel Michael

“Letting the appearance of something get in the way of your experience of it is something that you all do from time to time. Your engagement with an object, a person, a place, or even an animal is often determined by the initial response you have to its outward appearance.

This is not just about that which is considered pretty and that which is considered unattractive. This is about memories as well. You contain a multitude of experiences within you, and sometimes one of those memories will get triggered because of an association you will make based on appearances.

Ultimately, it doesn’t matter why you find yourselves reacting in the way that you do. It only matters that you recognize that an outward appearance gives you only that which is on the surface. Your immediate reaction will inform you of a judgment that you are holding. That may be a judgment that something is good or better because of how it appears. It really doesn’t matter. What matters is that you recognize when you are doing this.

And then, without judgment of criticism of yourself, you release all preconceived notions and you allow yourselves to have the experience of whatever is before you as if you knew nothing about the object, person, place, or animal. And as you respond with that which is of the highest vibration you can hold, you will see that there is much more than meets the eye.
