“Behaviors often dictate your state of being. It is almost like you have no control over your state of being, based upon what you are doing. It is our observation that you are associating certain actions and behaviors with certain states of being, and you are running on a sort of autopilot.
So when you find yourself stuck in a traffic jam, you activate the program within you that says, ‘Now is when I become angry.’ And when you find yourself at a party, you say to yourself, ‘Now is the time when I activate my joy.’ And so you find yourselves in certain loops that are challenging for you to escape.
You have one of these loops when it comes to your Monday to Friday workweek and your weekends. So even the days of the week give you a sort of prompting to a particular state of being. So you see, for some of you, the day called Monday triggers more sadness than the day called Friday, even though you are performing the same actions and engaging in the same behaviors on both of those days.
We wish to illuminate this for all of you so that you can notice yourselves slipping into these automated patterns, these roles, these triggered states of being. And when you notice yourself doing this, that is when you have the opportunity to shift out of your patterns, out of your loops, and into the state of being that you actually choose to experience, regardless of what you are doing.
We also recommend that you do the things that you enjoy doing as much as humanly possible, but some of you never know when you will find yourselves in a traffic jam. So you might as well be aware of what that particular scenario is triggering so that you can make a new choice.
Making conscious choices around your states of being is what all of you wish to do. And we support you in those decisions.
We are the Zetas, and we are your brothers and sisters.”
