Being Fully Present ∞Quan Yin
“It is I, Quan Yin.
For the greatest enhancement of any experience you are having, I suggest giving it more of your attention. You have so many distractions in you lives. There are so many things that you could give your attention to. So how often do you give your complete and undivided attention to what is before you, and how often are you thinking about something else, looking at something else, or giving your attention to what you are going to say next?
How often are you fully present in the moment? Being fully present in the moment allows you greater access to all that you are. All that you are wants to be focused in the present. Otherwise, you would not have created the moment for yourself exactly as it is.
So when you go through all the trouble of creating the moment you are in for yourself, wouldn’t it then make sense to give that moment your complete and undivided attention? If you are not doing so, then you are fully present. In other words, not all of you is participating in the moment. And therefore, you can only be a fraction of who you are when you are not present, when you are not entirely focused on what is before you.
And when you are not entirely focused on what is before you, you cannot receive the full benefit of it. And when you cannot receive the full benefit of it, you are destined to repeat it until you do. So if you really do want to be somewhere else, then the quickest route actually is to be more present where you are.
I am Quan Yin, and I hold you in my heart.”
