Sit to Receive
“Sit for a while and allow the space around you to communicate with you. Allow yourself to be in a state of receptivity. You are constantly transmitting and receiving. Most of you are becoming more and more aware of what it is you are transmitting in each and every moment, and that is a wonderful thing. We are suggesting that you spend some receiving, consciously.
We are not suggesting that you ‘try’ to receive, because with trying there comes a sort of effort, and with effort, sometimes there is resistance. And then you are not in a receptive state. So in order to give yourselves the opportunity to receive, you must be completely unattached to what you receive, what form it comes in, how you receive it, and how long it lasts. This must be an exercise in allowing yourself to receive that which is.
So give yourself some peaceful moments throughout the day to simply be, and to be in that state where what is being transmitted to you and for you can be received by you. You may find yourself, at times, wondering whether you are creating that which you are receiving. And in a sense, that is always true. But when you are wondering whether your conscious mind is generating something so that you will feel that you have succeeded, that is when you must be able to discern what it is you are receiving and whether it feels like something that is for your benefit and of a high vibrational nature.
Now you can also generate messages from your mind that are high vibrational. However, you will in time learn how to discern whether something is coming from within you, from what you have come to know as your ego/mind/personality, and when something is coming from a guide, an angel, a non-physical friend, and so on. So just allow yourself to play with this exercise, and have fun with it. See it more as a game, rather than something that you are working on, and you will enjoy your time spent in this receptive state, no matter what.”
