You Are the Primary Mover – The Founders
“Placing your emphasis on the actual events in your life as you see them gives you a perspective on reality. But if you were instead to place your emphasis on yourself and your relationship to the circumstances and events of your life, you would get a very different perspective. You would begin to see yourself as the experiencer. And therefore, you would become more significant than the life you have created around you.
And that is ultimately what you seek. You seek to be the priority in your life. But you can only take your proper place as the primary component of your life when you begin to pay more attention to you than to those circumstances, like your job, your appointments, your bank account, your friends, family members, lovers, and so on. We don’t want to sound flippant, but they are far less important than you are.
And we can say that to each one of you and mean it, because each one of you is the prime mover. Now as the prime mover you can either attempt to move all of those parts around – you can change your address, your job, your mate, your friends – or you can begin to look at yourself and how you relate to all of them.
You can begin to pay more attention to all of your responses to what is going on in your life. You can look for patterns. You can see the places where you are not giving yourself enough credit, where you are not putting yourself first, and where you are giving more power away than you are taking hold of.
We want you to see yourself as the creator of all that you see around you, rather than seeing yourself as the one who just has to deal with all of it. And your primary creation is you. So seek to find what makes you tick, what gives you a feeling of satisfaction and wholeness, and start there and stay there and let everything else and everyone else in your life respond to you.
We are The Founders. We are the keepers of the flame.”
