Channeling Ophelia – Creating from the Now
“There will be a time when you no longer wish to behave in ways that you believe do not serve you. You still engage, at times, in behaviors that you believe are detrimental in some way to your experience. Many of you call these ‘compulsions’ or ‘habits.’ But they are still your choices, and you will choose differently when the timing is right.
Many things that you do seem to be outside of your control. But in order for you to be a creator being, you must take the responsibility for all of your actions, for all of your choices. And you must acknowledge your hand in the creation of those experiences. Saying that something seems or feels outside of your control is putting it outside of your control. You will continue to create that experience of some of your behaviors.
But a willingness to see everything as your creation is the first step in creating something different. I know that many of you like your stories. You are fascinated by them. You tell others about your stories, and your stories make sense to your linear minds. They give you that comfort of cause and effect. But you don’t need a story to create. You create in your now moment.
So first, accept where you are as your creation. And then, remove any sense of limitation that you may have bought into by allowing yourself to create something new, something that is quite different from the story you have been telling. Pay attention to the stories. Pay attention to the self-talk. And pay attention to the stories you tell about others and about your relationship to them.
Every good story changes. I do not want to rob you of the pleasure that you take from putting it all into perspective and seeing your journey laid out. But I do want to hand you the keys to taking the journey that you desire, the journey that springs forth from this now moment without attachment to any other now moment in your, or any other aspect of yours, journey.
Be willing to be present and be willing to create something, something out of nothing. Something new. Something glorious. Something reflective of the being that you are right now.”
