“So, you have witnessed much in your lives. You have been a party to a multitude of experiences, and sometimes you are a participant. Mostly you observe, because there is much more that you can experience that way and put yourselves in all of those different situations by allowing yourselves to observe. You are then able to draw conclusions based upon your observations.
You may decide that you would have done something differently, or that you would have responded with a different set of emotions or words. Whatever it is, you get to have the experience of deciding how you would be in a particular situation that is happening in another’s life. And when you find yourself in that same or similar situation, you then get to have a completely different perspective, one that allows you to feel compassion.
And when you feel compassion for another, you bond with that individual because you can now relate. There is no need for you to have every different type of experience in order for you to feel and show compassion, because you can all relate to feeling intense emotion. It does not matter what situation brings that emotion on. It does not even matter what the emotion is.
You can relate when you can recognize the degree to which the person you are observing is allowing their energy to flow or is resisting it. That tells you all you need to know. And you can give more of your attention to the common bonds that you share with others in this way, fostering compassion for all.
We are Michael. We are infinite. We are Love.”
