“It is I, Quan Yin.
If you ever have a doubt about your direction in life, you can give your trust over to another or you can seek to get it from within. I know that it can be challenging to receive guidance from within when you are so emotionally involved, but the only way you will ever trust your inner guidance is if you begin to ask for it, access it, and act upon it.
Getting direction from someone or somewhere outside of you numbs you to your own guidance. Your guidance is like a muscle. The more it is used, the bigger it becomes. When you have elevated the stakes to such a height that everything becomes volatile and of paramount importance, you do cloud your ability to perceive your own guidance.
Therefore, I recommend that you loosen your grip, relax, and recognize that no matter what happens, no matter what path you go down, you will always benefit from the experience. When you are very attached to a particular outcome, you are more likely to feel anxious about whatever decision is before you.
So remind yourselves that you cannot make a mistake. You will always have your preferences and your desires, but when they become bigger than you, then you naturally find yourself in a place of mistrust. You cannot trust yourselves unless you value yourselves. Value your inner wisdom. Tap into it. Listen to it. Take its advice. And in so doing, you will strengthen your intuitive knowing about what to do and when to do it.
I am Quan Yin, and I hold you in my heart.”
