Being of Service
“What do you believe is your greatest strength? Now, what is your greatest weakness? How can you see your greatest weakness also as your greatest strength? What do you wish to do with the strengths that you have to serve humanity? We would like for you to ask yourselves these questions because there is no greater feeling than to feel that you are being of service, and all of you have something to give. All of you are beings of service, or you would not be here at this time.
There is not one among you who said, ‘Let me go forth to this universe and this planet at this time and see how much stuff I can get for myself.’ Not one of you. But you get here, and it starts to look that way. It starts to seem as though that is the goal for each of you to collect what it is you can and hold onto it for as long as you can, and to partner up and to have families, and so on. Those are wonderful things to experience, and most of you have had the experience of getting things that you wanted and being in relationships that you wanted to be in, having children, and so on.
But not all of you have experienced what it is like to extend yourselves out to serve the greater good of humankind. We know that many of you want to do this and do not know how it is you can go about it. Know that whatever your strength is, it can be used to help another, even if it is just one person. That is enough. If everyone reached out to help just one person, then everyone would be helping someone and everyone would be helped by someone. And no one would feel the need to collect anything in return.
This is where you are headed. This is what you all see the need for in your world – giving for the purpose of feeling what it is like to serve another unconditionally and to see the smile on their face. You are all gods incarnate. Be who you are, and let everything else sort itself out.”
