Everything is always shifting and changing in order to give you a new experience. So nothing, and no relationship, is ever meant to stay the same throughout all of eternity. We know that you like it when you see two people who get married stay together for decades of your time. That is very comforting to all of you because of the fear that can come up around being alone.

Your relationships are really about giving you what you need so that you can more closely examine your relationship to yourself. And since you are an ever-changing being, your relationship to yourself is in a constant state of flux.

It is ultimately up to you to decide how you want to relate to yourself, others, and your world. If you want stability in your relationships, then look within yourself for that stability. Give others the opportunity to grow and evolve and to change the dynamic of your relationship to them. That is truly how you live happily ever after.
